At EXPO2000, DOMOLOGIC presented in cooperation with the Gifhorner Wohnungsbaugenossenschaft and the Department E.I.S of the TU Brauschweig the Smart Home. It is installed in a housing estate for senior people in Gifhorn and provides a basis for safer living. E.g. the TV screen acts as user interface and the electric household appliances are controllable by remote. Directly beside the door, the door-terminal is installed, checking critical appliances like oven and displaying emergency messages if necessary. Below a simulation is presented, started by the buttons at the left side.
